USA Customs Brokerage Services
In addition to having a Customs permit to operate in all cities where Kamino has our
own offices, Kamino International Transport, Inc. d/b/a KAT Import Brokers is also
approved for Remote Location Filing.
Remote Location Filing (RLF) is a pilot program that allows approved participants to
electronically file entries with Customs and Border Protection (CBP) from a location
within the United States other then the port of arrival or location of examination.
For example, merchandise is entered in Detroit, Michigan and Kamino New York
files the entry via RLF.
USA Security
Kamino International Transport, Inc. has always been focused
on Supply Chain Security.
As an approved member of the TSA (Transportation Security Administration)
- Indirect Air Carrier Standard Security Program for many years, all Kamino offices
have a specific security program in place, including verification of Known Shippers.
Kamino International Transport, Inc. is also a participant in the Customs and Border
Protection C-TPAT program (Customs-Trade Partnership against Terrorism).
C-TPAT is a voluntary government-business initiative to build cooperative
relationships that strengthen and improve overall international supply chain
security and US border security.
